Nita
Nita is a Bozeman native. She and her husband Vern raised two children, a son and his family now in Alaska, and a daughter and her family now in Ohio.
Nita officially joined the company in January 1998. She manages the office and works with all aspects of the health insurance business including help with claims.
Outside of the office, Nita enjoys gardening and especially the flowers, filleting the fish Vern catches, and the golf vacations at the Los Cabos Golf Resort.

Vern
Vern is a Montana native, born, raised, and educated in the Gallatin Valley. He enjoys outside activities like fishing, golfing, motorcycle riding, and gardening. The insurance career began in 1980 selling individual BlueCross plans but soon expanded to employer plans and life insurance. The Veltkamp Agency was formed in 1985 and greatly expanded the number of companies and products offered to Montana residents. The company is now able to shop for products based on the price, benefits, and service. Service has been a key component in the success of the Veltkamp Agency because people often do not focus on their insurance until the need for it due to accident or illness. In recent years, long-term care insurance has become a very important product as people are living longer but need help at home on in long-term care facilities. The Veltkamp Agency has a variety of companies offering an assortment of plans.
Kay
Kay Jacobson joined the Veltkamp Agency in July of 2003. Kay is the greeter, receptionist, and here to help individuals and seniors with their health insurance questions or concerns.
Originally from Bismarck, North Dakota, Kay moved to Bozeman with her husband Bruce in 1989. She has two grown children who reside in North Dakota and one who lives in Bozeman. She also has four grandchildren: three live in North Dakota and one lives in Bozeman.
Most holidays and vacations require travel to North Dakota. Outside of the office, she enjoys visiting with her husband, crocheting, and working on new craft projects.
